Pepper Steak

Ingredients:

1 lb. lean beef steak
1 Tbls. paprika
2 Tbls. butter
2 crushed garlic cloves(or 1 Tbls.minced garlic)
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 cup sliced onions
2 green peppers cut in strips
2 Tbls. cornstarch
1/4 cup EACH water and soy sauce
2 large fresh tomatoes, cut up


Directions: Pound the steak to 1/4 inch thick and then cut into 1/4 inch strips..Sprinkle meat with paprika and allow to stand while preparing other vegetables..In a large skillet brown meat in the butter..Add garlic and broth..Cover and simmer 30 minutes..Stir in onions and green peppers..Cover and cook 5 minutesmore..Blend cornstarch,water and soy sauce..Stir into the meat until clear and thick..Add tomatoes.. Serve with rice....

 

BBQ Marinated Pork Chops

Ingredients:

2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup lemon juice
grated rind of one lemon
2 TB olive oil
1 TB chopped fresh rosemary or 1 tsp dried
1/8 tsp dried basil
1/8 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
4 pork chops, about 1" thick


Directions: Whisk together 1st seven ingredients. Place chops in large plastic bag; pour marinade over chops. Seal and refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight, turning occasionally. Drain and reserve marinade to brush on chops while cooking. Grill chops over medium coals about 6 minutes per side

 

BBQ'd Ribs

Number of Servings: 4-6

Ingredients:

3-4 pounds pork ribs
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce


Directions: Place ribs in greased roasting pan. Bake, uncovered at 350deg. for 45 mins. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine remaining ingredients. Bring to boil; cook for 1 min. Drain ribs. Spoon sauce over ribs. Cover and bake 1 1/2 hrs. Uncover; bake 30 mins. longer, basting once.

 

Chicken Stroganoff

Ingredients:

4 bacon strips, diced
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/4 in. strips
1 med. onion
2 cans sliced mushrooms, drained
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. paprika
pepper to taste
2 tbsp. flour
1 cup sour cream
Hot cooked noodles
additional paprika, optional


Directions: In skillet, cook bacon till crisp. Drain, reserving 2 tsp. drippings; set bacon aside. In the dripping, cook the chicken, onion, alnd mushrooms tull the chicken is no longer pink. Add the broth, garlic, salt, paprika, pepper and bacon. Cover and simmer for 10 mins. Combine flour and sour cream till smooth; add to the skillet. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 mins. or till thickened. Serve over noodles.

 

Honey-Dijon Chicken

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1 pound)
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. dijon mustard


Directions: Place chicken in an ungreased 11x7 inch pan. Combine remaining ingred.; pour over chicken. Bake uncovered at 350deg. for 35-40mins. or til juices run clear, turning and basting with pan juices every 15min.

 

coca-cola pork chops

Ingredients:

8 pork chops
1 cup catsup
1 cup coca-cola
brown suger


Directions: place pork chops in a baking pan season with salt and pepper mix the catsup and coca-cola and pour over pork chops sprinkle with brown suger bake uncoverd in a 350 oven for 1 hr or until pork chops are tender.

 

Hamburger Pie

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Number of Servings: 6 to 8

Ingredients:

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 can green beans
1 can tomato soup
1/4 cup water
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup shedded cheese
1 small box instand mashed potatoes


Directions: In large skillet cook maet and onions until meat is lightly browned and onions are tender, drain off fat. Stir in green beans, soup,and water. Salt and pepper turn into a 11/2 qt. casserole pan. Make potatoes as on box. Drop potatoes in mounds on the top of meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese bake uncovered at 350 till heated through 25 to 30 minutes.

 

Pork Chop Bake

Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

6 pork chops
6 potatoes peeled and 1/4
1 med. onion
salt and pepper to taste
Gravy ;
Pan drippings
1 can 10 3/4 cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup water


Directions: Brown pork chops. Place a layer of potatoes on the bottom of a large casserole pan lay pork chop on top. Combine soup and water with pan drippings and pour over top of all. Slice onoin rings on top. Bake 350 for 1 1/4 hour. Or until potatoes test done.

 

Corned Beef Macaroni Salad

Preparation Time: approx. 25 minutes
Number of Servings: 6-8

Ingredients:

4 cups elbow macaroni
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup salad dressing { Mayo }
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 Tablespoon vinegar
1/2 up evaporated milk
2 1/4 cup { 12oz } can corned beef
2 cups shredded lettuce
2 Tablespoon piemento ,finly chopped
1/4 cup sweet pickle relish


Directions: Cook macaroni according to directions on box long with the 1 tsp salt. Drain and rinse in cold water .Set aside. Mix salad dressing, salt, pepper, and vinegar and gradually add milk. Add macaroni, beef, shredded, then shredded lettuce, pimento and sweet relish. Mix well .Chill several hours before serving.

Ingredients:

good piece of marinating steak
barbeque sauce
pickling spice


Directions: Mix in a bowl barbeque sauce and pickling spice (about 1 cup pickling spice to 1/2 cup barbeque sauce) coat meat in it and leave in the fridge to marinade up to 3 days. when ready to cook it, scrape all pickling spice off it or youll have one crunchy and awful peice of meat..then coat with barbeque sauce and cook over a grill or barbeque.
